I'm glad you found the temp solution. I'm having my inverter dropped off at the "authorized" service center tomorrow for repair.
I learned a couple of things today in talking to both Magnum Energy and ASE Supply. Since both inverters I have need repairing it's best to repair the newer one (by 1 year an '04 vs an '05). There was a change to the control boards between those two years and it does make a difference. The '04 would be cheaper to fix if it was going back into it's original motorhome but since I would be putting it into a newer coach more updating would be needed and the expense would go up. Cheaper to fix my original inverter in the long run. Lessons like this sure can hurt the wallet.
