Need help with Schwintek in-wall slide repair

It appears that the slide out mechanism is coming out on the rear slide of my 2013 Sunseeker 3170DS. Looking from inside it looks like when it was manufactured the screws missed the wall completely. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I am thinking I need to install a piece of angle iron or something sturdy to fill in the gap between the wall and the bracket screws.
