I did do that as i mentioned in my second post. Also on irv2. Seems the reviews were mixed. - fprestoExplorerI had tremendous service from Shop-4-Seats when I purchased a couch and a double recliner. Received them quickly even including the shipping from CA to MD. They were exactly what I ordered and extremely well packaged. I could not be happier.

- Sully2ExplorerWhy cant ya lift that sofa up off those studs and move it aside...and using a stud remover get those stubs out of the floor and install new threaded rod and use them to hold down sofa and new seat belts???

That was my first pick then saw the price at shop4seats. Probably one of those you get what you pay for. They have a mixed review.
Hey Gary do you know how and were your seat belts are fastened for your couch. I just picked mine up a couple months ago and someone changed the couch and cut out the seat belts. I pulled the carpet back and on both sides of the couch and there are what looked like 5/8" or a little bigger rod cut off flush with the floor. These were about six inches off the back and side wall on both sides of couch. Not sure if that was to hold the couch down or for seat belts. Thanks Mike
I'll have to look where the seat belt at fastened down for my sofa. As far as the other "bolts" you speak of Im positive they are the hold down bolts for the sofa. They came up and went thru a section of the angle iron framework of the sofa that was also the foot of it.
EDIT: Mike...as far as I can tell the sofa seat belts are also bolted directly to the floor. I can see LG studs amd the metal ends of the seat belt themselves have LARGE flat washer and what appears to be ( maybe??) 3/8 nuts on the bolting each one to the floor of the coach! I think it was for BOTH purposes..1) seat belts and 2) hold the sofa down. Hope that helps some??

Thanks Mike - IAMICHABODExplorer IIIHere is an earlier thread about them, you might contact one of the people that posted there. I bought a seat swivel from them and the quality was excellent. People there are helpful too.
