Buy a hydrometer and check the specific gravity of each battery cell... this will tell you a lot about the health of them. Two solar panels may only give you 10-15 amps of power mid day BUT you may be using half of those amps powering fans, sat receiver, TVs etc... not enough amps to actually recharge your batteries as indicated by the voltage going down with the sun. You probably have 2-3 amps of parasitic load with every thing turned off. Sounds like you bought into the solar hype solving all your power needs and yes a roof full of them will... but not just two for a big MH. You have a 8K+ generator for a reason... use it as I doubt you have a battery problem other than not enough of them and not actually charging them fully before night time. You need to run your generator at least two hours a day. By going LED I've gotten my generator time down to one hour at night and half an hour when making coffee and I have two large solar panels. Solar comments by those with TT have no idea how much energy a big MH uses. I have 800AH of AGMs that are 10 years old.
