About the controller, charging, etc:
I'm not sure how much amperage we use while camping and it's currently parked. I know the solar system is from ZAMP, and the controller is a 12v, 30 amp controller.
The installer used 8 gauge wire and the run is from the rear of the roof, almost straight down to the battery bank.
Stupid question but is a 12v controller ok with 6v batteries? Assume it just means it runs on 12v. Sorry, far from an electrical expert! Anyway, I was just in the coach and the panel is reading 13.7 on a sunny day in San Diego. At other times it climbs to 14.7 but as mentioned, drops quickly at night.
