Yeah that zamp controller is garbage IMO.. Accepts 25 volts max from panels. That means your panels are parrele. So 17 volts from the panels.
17 volts and you need to charge at 14.7. Unless its mid afternoon and your getting full sun your probably not charging the batts at all till around 11 am.
Thats a bad set up IMO.
You need higher voltage panels or wire them in series. But then you need a new controller. And MPPT is the way to go.
