There are a lot of variables with your specific set up..
1. How many watts solar, how big is all the wireing and distances, and what type controller do you have? mppt or PWM..
80% of solar jobs are not installed correctly in regards to wiring size, voltage drop, and charger selection.
2. What converter do you have in the camper? Most charge bulk at 14.4 volts then drop to 13.6 with no absorbtion state. This may get your batterys up to 80% possibly but never get fully charged.
3. You have an invertor.. OK whats your daily wattage use? You need to figure this out.
4. 450 ah is a lot of power. You should be able to go a few days on those or more especially during sunny days and such.
You rarely should have to start the generator IMO..
This is what I was thinking. OP I would invest in a battery desulphator YESTERDAY. Battery Minder makes a good one. Put those batts on the Minder I can almost bet they'd restore.
