I have an 05 American Tradition. All lights have been converted to LED, with every thing off I still draw 2A. When I say everything I mean the microwave is unplugged, the coffee maker is unplugged and nothing else is running except for the inverter. I have 750W of solar on the roof and I still must run the generator in the morning to get back up to 13V.
BTW - I am like you in that I did not have the time or discipline to keep the batteries watered so I went with AGM. We also do a lot of dry ca ping. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
