- Dusty_RExplorerI thought I had a scanned copy for an'88 Mallard. But I don't see it.
- Golden_HVACExplorerFor winterizing, I have never 'read the manual' on my 97 Bounder, but instead hook up a air compressor, blow out the water lines, and add some pink anti-freeze to the drain lines and black tank.
I guess you could look under the sink for the drain on the P trap, but if there is not one, just add about 4 ounces of pink antifreeze that is non-toxic.
Drain the water heater, then run the air compressor, then drain the water heater again, as some water will be pushed in as hot water lines are drained and filled with air. Make a note not to restart the hot water heater until you have put back water in the system.
Good luck,
Fred. - If no one comes up with anything better, get yourself an old edition of a generic RV repair and maintenance manual. My recommendation is Bob Livingston's Trailer Life's RV Repair and Maintenance Manual, 1989 edition. I used it for years with my old RV, passed it on to the buyer. You want the old edition because it covers your older RV and appliances.
Amazon has used copies for sale. link
Another possibility is that the owner of a rig like yours is reading this and can somehow send you photos of where the drains are and such.
