Take a look at the Class A Sprinter based chassis also (Winnebago Via and Itasca Reyo). Its 25.5 feet long with more room inside and has more outside storage than a C. Our first 7700 miles of travel have averaged almost 15 mpg. Ours is like driving a large van. Much easier than our pickup with a TT was to drive, maneuver, park, get fuel, etc. It is so easy to setup at a site and leave to go to a store that we rarely tow a vehicle. The Sprinter chassis does cost more than a Ford or Chevy but in addition to great mileage you get more reliability and longer service from it (Sprinters are rumored to routinely go to 400K miles). A large part of our buying decision was a MH that would fit in our existing garage we modified to store the TT but we now really appreciate all of its other features and ease of use. I hope you find something you like!
