- Mile_HighExplorerDon't limit yourself to just one toy :)
- Bill_SatelliteExplorer IILook at the line of Jeeps that are designed at the factory to be towable. The Cherokee of the last 4-5 years needs a special wiring harness but otherwise, most of them are towable right out of the box. The FMCA towing guide is one of the few valuable reasons to join FMCA.
- GoldencrazyExplorer[ i get better mileage than the sticker. It is fun to drive. The number one thing Consumer Reports salutes is what i love. Easy to drive and great to park. For me it also tows easily. Great package.

We pull an electric smart for two on a single axle trailer. For me it would be a toss up between the Rolls and the smart. :)

It's also been discontinued so parts may become an issue as well...Dennis
To the OP: We tow an Equinox. If you consider one of those, make sure you get the 6cyl. not the 4. The 6 has hydraulic steering, the 4 has electronic. You want the hydraulic...D - No toad for me but I would have a modified off road style jeep.
- ro_sieExplorerWe tow an Acadia, but I would really like to drag my old vette along. IT IS MUCH MORE FUN.

Well this is very helpful. Because I was witnessing folks towing Cadillac Escalade's and Chevy Suburbans, and it had me wondering Whether that was the norm.
you do see such but I don't think its the norm;; you need big power to comfortably tow 6000 lb rigs like those but still lots do it
my friend had a 43tag 425ISL ABDP and towed his Tahoe and it sucked on the Hills for sure - ChainwrightExplorerWell this is very helpful. Because I was witnessing folks towing Cadillac Escalade's and Chevy Suburbans, and it had me wondering Whether that was the norm.

and tows 4 down with no mods 2012- 13 Suzuki Grand vitara ltd
under 4000 lbs - Mr_Mark1ExplorerChairwright,
You can pull anything and everything if you have a trailer (and if you have the towing capacity).
So many of the vehicles are being taking off the list for 'four wheels down towing' because of the new type transmissions.
We certainly loved the Honda CR-V as we had two (2007 and then a 2013).
After 2014, Honda CR-V's are not towable four wheels down.
When I was looking for a replacement, I originally wanted the Lincoln MKC (Ford Escape) but it's not towable four down.
That led me to move up the ladder to the 4,200 lb. Lincoln MKX (Ford Edge) which is towable.
I really like the car and glad I got a little heavier, nicer, vehicle and it matches the motorhome! LOL.
You can look at Motorhome Magazine's towing guide to see what they recommend.
It has back issues on their website if you were looking at pre 2017 cars.
The true story of tow-ability is in the owner's manual of the car.
Remco makes driveshaft cut-offs but not for all cars/trucks.
Safe travels,
MM.
