As the owner of a 2006 Class C on a Chevy Chassis, I can say you made a good Choice :B
Beyond that the long thread in my signature may be of help,to make it a bit easier than reading the whole thing you can skip to page 4and beyond to see the debate about Fuel mileage. Mine so far has been about 9.2 average on the road in the varied terrain here, and I drive it and don't baby it.
The ride quality is also discussed along the way and the comfort and cockpit size difference between the Class C on a Chevy Chassis and a Ford is on page 15 also the updates as mentioned on the first page.
