Shop for at least a year at the same dealer. Ask incessant questions. Then they'll make you an offer just to go away.
If you want a specific unit and you want it now, you will pay more. However, that's not all bad if you get what you want/need. After all, in the end it's whether the product serves you well, not the price you paid. Within reason of course.
