Might be a good ider if the filter held 5 gallons and the pan drained into it.
Just run a forklift or something under the erl filter twist it off with a big big wrench and let it down and screw on another.
We have very few synthetics available. I don't run one because I haven't found one in several years. Honda has one and several of the European race teams etc run them. Some are available here. Another poster sent me a pm some time ago on which ones.
What we buy as synthetic is phony more refined? dino oil at an inflated price.
The real stuff is so slick you can't hold onto a screwdriver coated with it, as I remember for the short lived Exxon synthetic. I had to retighten all the gaskets on the Plymouth I ran it in.
