Hi, y'all. I just jumped over here from the Class C discussion forum because I just traded in my 2014 Winnebago Aspect 27K for a Winnebago ERA 70A. I am supposed to take delivery on Wednesday. I have only had the Aspect for 6 mos. and 2 of those months it has been in the body shop from a little "oopsie" with a post at a gas station on the way to a horse show(which is why we bought it so I could stay on the show grounds). I loved the look of the coach, the whole interior and everything about it when parked. What I didn't like was the length getting in and out of tight spots. I am 55, work out, ride horses and am very independent, but have not had a lot of experience driving anything longer than our Ford F250. I have pulled our 2 horse trailer more than a few times but not in and out of gas stations a whole lot of times(mostly short trips to vets, etc.). Long story, even longer, lol, I decided that a B class was the way to go and drove the ERA on Wednesday. I don't want to say it was love at first sight but it was when I made a u-turn in the driveway, I knew that it was the camper for me. I told them that they needed to make a commercial with an "old lady" driving it down the road going "weeeeeeeeeee" like the pig in the Geico commercial. Can't wait for my first road trip!

We really like our 70A. Best value on the "B" market. There's several items that could be better designed, but all brands have that.The weak link in the equation has been the second Sprinter in a row for us with "issues"

Congratulations. We went with a B class for a similar reason--size. In particular, we didn't want to be have our overnight stays limited to sardine can RV parks.

I have not had any rattles at all and I feel like it drives and rides like a Cadillac compared to my last two E-450's. As far as pricing I think mid 80's on a 2015 should be easy to get I did without much effort. I have seen a new 2014 listed at $79,995 at Camping World in Cocoa Beach but sold right away.

I'm also female and looking forward to something easy to drive, and we are looking into the Era 70X, trading in our older Ford B+. Would love to hear how your driving is in this, as I just read somewhere someone saying it rattled and the back rode rough? Do not want a lot of rattles or rough riding, not good. We didn't get to actually drive the Era as dealer was out of stock, but did drive a Winnebago Navion B+ and Pleasure-Way FL B, both drove incredibly! We assumed Era would be similar but now worried about what we read, but that was from an older model. I know you have the 70A but assume they would be similar. Coming close to closing deal. Also are they selling around $80 or closer to upper $80's, 90 for new?? Just wondering as we got price mid-upper $80s and that was with trying really hard. :R May need to try harder. :@

Jerry, in our RVing experience, unless there's a noticeable problem in the drive, it's best to wait till you have 4 to 6k miles before you do an alignment. Let things settle in a bit in that suspension[

Thanks , I will wait I have no problem at all even when passed by semi's although I seem to be doing all the passing I have to learn to slow down.

I can not believe how it drives I can actually hear the radio going down the road. I have a hard time justifying having the front alignment checked but will.

Your post made this woman RVer laugh. I started out with a B, and then moved up to a 25' wider body Class C some years later. Even so the 2nd time I drove it, the result wasn't a long visit to a body shop, but only a couple days to do a bit of paint repair. :B Dang weatherstrip on the garage door jumped out when I wasn't looking. Oddly, on the road, my bigger rig drives so much better than my little B did... but that is the difference between an older Ford and a newer Chevy. It sounds like your smaller Sprinter will be perfect for your usage.
