i would certainly check all the duct work connections/fittings for alignment and leaks or blockages, before spending money on new Units
if you replace them i would do 13.5k btu or even 15k btu in the living area
the front of an RV with Slides is harder to Cool, with that much surface exposed to the sun, the heat level is intense
No Slides ? that 11k btu should be cooling the area
The rear unit struggles to cool it off the rear to 70*. It is 13500btu. Even with the blast vent, it’s not that cool. The front unit is a 15000btu. It cools, but I’m just wondering if it seems like it’s struggling just due to the fact that it’s working harder to make up for the slack rear a/c. We have a super slide in the living area and a bedroom slide in the rear. I’m going to replace the bedroom unit with a 15000btu also. There is nothing like a cool bed room when it’s 100 degrees outside with 70% plus humidity to add to it.
