We are about to purchase two new Demotic Brisk Air II 15,000 BTU's for our class A and install them our self. These A/C's are about $200 cheaper per A/C from Amazon and other camping site's compared to Camping World. Is there a catch that I need to be concerned about? Why is there such a huge price difference. The descriptions and all are the same, but I'm just wondering is there is anything that I need to watch out for a $200 difference.
Amazon is one of the greatest, if not the greatest and in customer service, as well.
Watch for a special and especially on the install price at CW, which might lessen the burden considerably. If you have a plan and some help for getting these heavy things down from the roof and up again, then go for it. Also if you've arranged for an installer ahead of time. Also be sure of the repair or return procedure if it comes defective and I will usually try an go another route, other than amazon for these heavy items.
Having said that, I've bought home window ac's and a dishwasher from them and also tires at quite a savings.
