This is old news by about two years, I think. Given another 10 years there won't be whole lot of business left there....maybe anywhere.
The last primary lead smelter, in the US, Doe Run, in Missouri, is being forced to close by new regulations, in December that would cost them 100,000,000.00 to implement. The smelter has been in operation since 1892.
Wouldn't is be easier to just have the engine derated to 475HP?
