New Class B - $59,000 By Hymer...Sold at Camping World

Hymer bought Roadtrek and is building an entry level Class B exclusively for Camping World called Hymer Sunlight V1.....it is a clone of the Winnebago Travato 59K. Starting price for the Hymer is $59,000. It is built in Canada in the same plant that builds RoadTrek. Sadly, the units seem to be total POSs. Terrible quality. Camping world has guts putting them on their lots. You can google youtube to see some reviews.

Look like DYO Conversions. Hymer from Europe does not pump out anything this bad. I wonder why they allowed these to be built by RoadTrek?

Allowed? Hymer owns Roadtrek... so they are the same company now. Hymer's build and Hymer's deal with Camping World.

Looks like if the twin beds are made into a queen, you have to access the toilet and closet from the rear doors. And if you use the toilet in the middle of the night, you could be right by your partner's head with only a half-wall division. UGH

It looked that way to me also, but then I watched this video review:

The rear cabinet doors swing open to fill in the wall gap.

  • Well, it is on the short Promaster... and there is a cabinet on each end of both beds. That likely excludes the very tall people...
  • I looked at some of their models, but if I remember correctly, the beds were not made for a tall guy like Ed, who always had his feet hanging off the end of our previous Class C 75" queen mattress...
  • Well, you could also use the bed as twins... and put your head towards the front... and your feet on the toilet side.
