We just leave it, when stopping to eat. But maybe we shouldn't. I'm looking forward to the answers. I remember it saying after eight hours of towing to run the engine and go thru the shifting procedure again (I think that is without turning off the fuse, though. We always disengage the fuse.)
We have a 2012 CRV. We had a fuse on/off switch installed and have a Roadmaster Falcon Towbar with iRV2 brake.
I have bonded with the CRV and like it now. I went through my minivan withdrawl at first. :-)
