It is in the CRV owners manual for the 12,13and 14 models, pages 235 or 236. We cycle ours before starting in morning and again at lunch. The key is left in the car, with doors locked by a spare key.
We do not remove the fuse (or have a fuse disconnect switch, but have installed a charge line from the MH, through the umbilical cord, keeps the tiny CVR battery fully charged.
