I had to replace my house batteries about 2 months after buying our MH. (is a 2006). I put a switch on the negative side of the batteries and now, 4 moths later no issues. BTW - I could find no date codes on the old batteries. They are supposed to be there but they were not. My new batteries do indeed have the date code.
