Now I'm not usually a proponent for a single brand, but I don't think the Michelin's are all that bad. On our previous rig I replaced the Michelin tires at ten years old with no cracking at all. On this rig the tires taken off were dated 2005 and there was minor cracking on the four tires exposed to the sun. The inner duals had no cracking at all. The previous owner wintered in Florida parked for several months. He made no effort to cover his tires, so the four outer tires were exposed to the daily sun. Hopefully my new tires will last as long as we own this rig with a bit of care and covering them when not in use.
