The Bridgestones price I got quoted for all 6 out the door came to $2750 which I thought was a good price. Anyone ever used these?
My Goodyear tires were 7.5 years old in July 2012 when I had the driver’s side inside dual tire blow.
I replaced my old 19.5 Goodyear tires with Bridgestone tires that were 3 months old. With the new tires my RV was almost impossible to drive. I added a trac bar to the rear and a steering damper. They helped but my RV was still difficult to drive. After about 5 months and a few thousand miles, and with the suspension changes, my RV has never driven better.
I talked to another individual that just purchased new tires, I believe his new tires are Michelins, he said that the Les Schwab tire dealer said that he would hate the tires for the first 500 miles. After that the tires will "break in' and drive better.
I don't know if the tires need time to age (cure) or if they need miles to "break in".
The point, don't panic if the tires don't drive well for the first few thousand miles.
Safe Travels.
