Oh, the Dash Air issue is vacuum loss somewhere. There's Hose, Fittings, Check Valves, a Vacuum Can, Select Valve (looks like a Slide or Switch but it switches Vacuum) and Vacuum Servos. Any leakage and the system is designed to blow air out the Defrost. I forget here the Vacuum Can is, but in early years it looked like a CAN, like Coffee would come in, so by now one of those might be rusted through.
