New TV

last night I went to Walmart with my 12 yr old grandson to buy some football gloves for him and ended up buying a 29" led tv to replace the 13" old analog one. I still have to modify where it hangs so for now it's sitting on the doghouse. I have the round flat dish type antenna on the roof and I did the channel search with 0 channels coming up. Do these type antenna work with the newer digital tv's? I'm not sure that the coaxial cable is even good, will have check that out.
  • If the "round" antenna you refer to worked on the old TV, and there is no cable problem, the antenna should work. There is no difference for the antenna to deliver analog or digital tv signals. The older round antennas did not capture signals very well though, so you might need a newer amplified antenna that rotates to the direction of the tower.
