new water pump BUT no cold water!!
It pumps the hot side of all faucets, but absolutely zero cold water. I noticed it first after the installation when I tried to put water in the toilet bowl. Nothing! Same problem whether we're hooke...

Why not filter the hot water? Do they assume the heat would kill anything in it? The filter is also supposed to be removing stuff other than living things. I simply use a manual filter on my hose so everything going in gets filtered.
