I'm assuming you have the unit set on Gas(Furnace) and not Elec(tric). On the thermostat in our 2013 Winnebago Vista I have to be sure I have moved the switch to Gas. Of course I can tell if the air conditioner starts blowing. But that electric heat automatically cuts off when outside temp goes below 36. But that doesn't make the furnace come on. Also you may have to raise the set temp above 58 because the thermostat is on an inside wall and it may not be getting below 58 during the night. In addition, if you aren't connected to electric in a cg the voltage from the battery may be too low for your furnace to operate. Run your generator and charge the batteries.
