My wife and I normally travel to the West (except CA.) and NW United States. This year we traveled East to Nova Scotia. It has been a trip with beautiful scenery, great local people in every state and province we visited, but it is my last trip East in a coach. The bad local roads combined with the high fuel prices, high rv site prices, even high grocery prices have all taken their toll. Right now, I'm willing to pay any tolls if the roads won't beat my coach to pieces, just to get back to the Southwest. I happen to believe that getting a coach beat up on the back roads combined with all the stopping and starting can be more expensive than the tolls. Again, great area of the country......but too crowded and too expensive for us. The trip has also had the added benefit of cementing our plan to move to the wide open spaces of Montana where we have been house hunting. Best of luck to all you folks in the Northeast and it is a beautiful place.
