Many of us had the same frustrating newbie feeling when learning from scratch after buying a used unit. It will take a while to gradually figure out all the systems, but it's part of the fun. No question is stupid.
Good advice to connect with other owners. Does RT have regional owner groups that have rallies? Sometimes you can meet peope at a B rally who will be a great resource.
Check the Class B sub-forum here, and if you haven't yet, try the search function. You can also post questions there one by one with specific issue in the post title and get some good feedback. There are lots of Roadtrek (and other B) owners with a great brand-specific knowledge base.
For example, many B owners have three-way Dometic refrigerators and have dealt with the fairly common problem of them not working on propane. If you have a 3-way, you may find some suggestions by trying a search. Does your fridge work at all? (on 12 volt or plugged into shore power/when generator in use?)
