It's not just the 115/220 volts difference that can be a problem but also the 50Hz/60Hz difference. Your AC-motorised appliances will all be running 20% faster.

I hope you make it over to our side of the continent. To us, the western states and British Columbia are the best. We're about 75 driving miles from the US/Canada border.

You may have a problem getting auto insurance from companies over here if you aren't a resident.
