I am preparing to do about the same thing in Reverse.
I though have purchased a Right Hand drive Sprinter in the Netherlands through my friend there. We intend to tour UK this next summer.

This will be our 4th motorhome we have owned in Europe ( 2 Hymers so far ) but this is our first Right Hand drive ( we have rented small motorhomes in Australia and New Zealand before though.
I know better than bringing my Long Bed Dodge Ram and fifth wheel to Europe.
You will get a whole bunch of " you can't do this or that " on this forum so just sort out the bovine excrement.
Have fun in the USA and just enjoy you will never be able to see it all as I won't be able see it all in UK.
