We have a c that measures just under 25 feet; no toad and if I have my way it will stay that way. Hubby thinks one would be useful; I think we would just tool around more and rack up miles on that and he would have another vehicle to maintain.
Currently we use it as a roving hotel and see things along the way. Take it to trailheads to hike (where possible).
When we go shopping we hog up 4 spaces in the hinterlands of the parking area to give us plenty of room all around...never where others might need a closer spot...we don't mind walking.
We like it; I might want to go smaller but so far layouts are not conducive. A king bed would be nice but that isn't happening.

Oh, we have lived in ours for trips as long as 2.5 months and have one planned for 4.5 months next winter.
