You have a right to be concerned. When I first put mine on one of them leaked and I did not know about it until I check the pressure days later before another trip. I tightened the fittings and they have held well for 80 k miles of vibration with no further tightening. I would put soapy water over the fittings and look for bubbles, after you install them, and check your pressure before each trip.
