That's a hung wall unit, as all Newmars are.
Thanks Bruce, I wasn't sure because they are the low end of the Newmar models. I would be a good thing not to worry about delamination.
I don't think delamination is an issue on any newer rv's anymore regardless of the wall structure. The adhesives they use now aren't like the ones in the past. I can't say I've heard of a delamination issue on any RV built within the past 10 years. I am sure it happens, but I can't recall ever seeing a post about it. I wouldn't hang my hat on that as a decision for brand.
I have searched various Mfg web sites and have not been able to find what is different in the bonding process or adhesives used. They use just marketing terms rather than eng terms in describing their processes and materials. Some are vacuumed bonded some are pinch rolled bonded and some are press cured. I also can't find out what is different in the adhesives today vs mid 90's. I can tell you I looked at a 2009 Safari Simba and a 2009 Damon Daybreak and neither owners were ever up on there roofs both were delaminated. If anyone on here knows what year these improvement were made and what the improvements actually were I would be very interested in hearing them.
