No 12 volt in overhead lights
I have a 1999 National Tradewinds and have no 12 volt in my overhead lights inside the coach. The side lights work fine and the bedroom night lights work fine. Just no power to the overhead fixtures...

I had a switch by my door also. I even went to far as replacing the light. I was not happy when I discovered the new light didn't work either, THEN I discovered the switch. I was laser-focused and never tried other lights.
I've also had one in a series loose wire in the wire nut. It stops all down series lights from working.
