No Electric When Hooked up

First ignore all reference to L-2 that is for a 50 amp setup. Follow instructions in the manual or on the cover. Manual
L-1 is the black wire in the shore cord.
Line neutral is the white wire.
Green wire in the cord goes to the lug in lower left corner. It should be green.
Generator wiring should be the same as the shore power cord. Wiring to the rig should be the same.
There should be no jumpering and splicing with wire nuts. Maybe former owner had problems and splice around transfer switch.
Should ask what size genset you have? Some rigs had 30 amp shore power and genset larger to handle two AC units. If the genset is like a 5000 watt, then L-2 from genset would be connected.

Which numbers and which colors are hot and neutral my old box says hot and couple white wires on old box actually jump over to others side with wire nuts this AT 501 don't have wires on other side to jump too

Found out today that my power switch is 50 amp with a 30 amp cord so I traveled 100 miles to nearest dealer that had replacement so I got the parallax ats 501 and it looks totally different on the inside so do guys have any tips for on the the install I plan to unhook man and hook back the at 501 wire for wire but it looks different and confusing

According to posts here and an electrician friend,the cause is loose connections. Makes sense it would be in the power cord, since it is the one that is getting pulled on every time you pull your power cord all the way out.
I replaced the box HERE

I was able to connect all the wires into the box before I mounted it. Be sure to mount the clamps on the box sideways (90 degrees) to the face of the box. That will make it make easier to mount the box to the back wall of the compartment.

Could you post make and model of the transfer switch? Then we could pull up the unit.

You should be able to get the parts and not have to replace the whole thing.
Try to get numbers off the relays, then go to an electrical supply house, not Home Depot or Lowes.

This plus a loose wiring terminal would cause the melting of wires. Glad you did not have a Fire.

Making me think it's time to check some AC connections on MH and inspect my shore cord 1st.

Had exactly the same issue. Did the replacement myself. A little tight, but very doable.
