I have sympathy with the OP. After a long day's travel and you are expecting just a happy face and friendly "RV" attitude, you get met with a tyrant of the RV park. LOL
I can't stand it either. So you are faced with "deal with it", or "load back up and drive on". I have twice decided just to stay at Walmart (through the years), and boondock the night rather than put up with that kind of stuff.
As for the paperwork, lots of places have that. Even home service people that come into your home give you release forms that if YOU trip or slip on their gear, or if THEY trip or slip on their gear, it's on you. LOL.
Forms and more forms.... Yeah, we all take risks, every RV trip on the road risks your life... The attitude however, goes a LONG LONG way.
I had one friendly guy at one cg go "here's where THEY make you sign your life away" with a smile. I could tell he thought it was ridiculous, and he knew I thought it was ridiculous, so I chuckled and signed away.
Liability has gotten ridiculous over the years though.... I have to admit I've been finding "wallydocking" more appealing lately. We always end up spending $30-50 in the store and fill up on gas before we go.
