Free speech. A couple of years ago I said some absolutely-truthful things online about a campground owner and the fraudulent dealings. I got sued for libel, defamation, interference with business, pain and suffering and even a hernia. The short version is that truth is an absolute defense but because the plaintiff dismissed before trial the state's frivolous-lawsuit statute didn't apply. So we won. Free speech cost me around $10,000 in non-recoverable costs.
Yes of course I'd do it again.
I wonder about rvparkreviews.com. Lately I've written a few reviews, positive reviews in fact, but as of a couple of weeks since written nothing has been published. I'm a bit wordy; maybe they were rejected because they weren't the equivalent of a sound bite. I publish on our blog but no one reads that.
