The coach heat/a-c is a separate unit, located in the front, ahead of the passenger dash, next to the genny. It gets electrical inputs from the dash heatercontrol, and also gets hot water from the engine as well as freon from the engine mounted compressor.
These units typically have a fan resister mounted in the ductwork that provide all fan speeds other than high.
They will have an engine water hose running in and out. the in hose has a solenoid valve in it, so when you are not asking for heat, the unit doesn't have to deal with it.
Check the water hoses, the larger should be hot the other not so much. The solenoid valve will be within sight.
