No hot water kitchen only!

I have a 2013 Thor Challenger motor home. Very suddenly out of nowhere the hot water faucet in the kitchen quit working. The cold water side works fine and all other hot water faucets wok fine also. I can't imagine this is a difficult fix but would like to know how to trouble shoot it. There are two separate lines running to the faucet one for hot and one for cold.
  • Disconnect hot water line from faucet.....stick the end in a bucket and turn pump ON/OFF to try and blow line clear. Might take a few times.
Line is probably clogged with debris from water heater. Kitchen faucet is usually closest to water heater and used most often.

If swapping the lines moved the problem odds are the problem is ABOVE the sink

If it is a single handle faucet, turn off ALL water (City and pump) Bleed pressure and remove handle, you should see how to take it apart from there.

Standing up. No need for another plumber's ... backside.. photo op.

Two knob types... Same instructions, only just the hot knob.
  • Followed your steps Old-Biscuit and the problem moved to the cold side. Guess I have to go to the dealer now cause I can't get to the non faucet end of the hot water line. So I'm at a loss for how to unplug the line without having to tear up the kitchen under sink cabinet.
  • Swap the lines around...cold on hot/hot on cold

Does problem swap to cold side of faucet?------blockage in hot line

Problem still on hot side?----faucet problem

I bet problem stays on hot side........change out that cheapo RV junk for a good residential style faucet of your choice
