I had a 26 inch Sony Wega in my Class C that I replaced with a modern LCD unit. Often, if you tell what brand and size the TV is people might be able to tell you how to get it out of there.
The back of my Sony had a 1/2 inch thick by 2 inch pin hole, and the framework of the mounting steel had a downward facing pin. The top of the TV was tipped backwards then slid backwards and the pin engaged the hole as the TV was tipped back to level. I think it weighed 81 pounds, a real beast to remove. The new thin Sony 31 fit in nicely with a pull out wall mount.
