The OP is asking about C's and not B's where you lose the overhead bunk. Before I bought my C, I went to the Hershey Show and mentioned to several manufacturers why don't they take the narrow C like what is on the sprinter chassis such as the Forest River Solera or Coachmen Prism and place it on a Chevy or Ford chassis which would be a lot cheaper than the Sprinter chassis and having a gas generator instead of LP. They had no answer, I would have liked to buy a unit like that because the Tiger and Bornfree are so much more, not everyone can afford the fiberglass shell. It sure would have been nice to drive and park a narrower unit without breaking the bank. Unfortunately Corporate only see's profit where we see usability for our life style.
