It's up to you whether you want to fix the issue or simply cover it up. Sort of like taking the light bulb out of the dash assembly because the check engine light is on.....by the way, the door seals are not replaceable but you can bandaid them up if necessary. How's the fridge cooling? OK? not OK?....Dennis
WRONG. The door seals seal regardless of where the door sits. If the doors open and closes without scraping or binding, the door seals ARE sealed. What has happened is over the years the weight in the doors has slightly dropped the door 1/8 inch or so and that is enough to not engage the light switch above the door. Doug
