After completing both recalls, the frig made a fairly loud "blow out" sound and leaked ammonia bad. Possibly from a hole in the coils. I cut the power to the frig and luckily had no damage and no fire. Just aired out the coach.
I live 30 miles south of Indianapolis, IN and does anyone know where to get an "Amish" fix fairly close or possibly in northern Indiana?
Or if I go the residential route, anyone know who might specialize in replacing the Norcold with a residential unit that would be fairly close to where I live?
I am strongly leaning to the residential frig as I have a new Magnum MS 2812 full sine wave inverter, and four house batteries.
Costs guesses on the above would also be appreciated.
Its 13+ years old. Even with new cooling unit the electronics, burner system, door seals, fans etc are 13+years old.I would install a new norcold or go residential.Like whyP said if always plugged in go res if boon docking all the time go/stay with lpg
