CAUTION! CAUTION! You CAN bypass the recall box to TEST ONLY...I would not operate the fridge WITHOUT the protection of the recall box.
You have TWO fuses INSIDE the black box you'll find just forward of the recall box. One is for 120VAC and the other is for 12VDC. Use a meter to check them for continuity. My guess is one of them is blown.....easy fix, just make sure you replace them with identical fuses......Dennis
