Other notes:
If the 7.4 Vortec is easy to start when cold and easy to start when hot immediately after shutting the engine but is hard to start when hot after resting 5 minutes then you have a leaking injector or a leaking injector pressure valve. I have one of those it’s my winter project.
Had the sparkplug wires changed but had to re-change one wire because of a rodent. Apparently they like rubber.
My front headlight plastic lenses were all faded, when parked in Walmart a nice fellow parked just beside me and EUREKA! I have realized that my headlights were directly from a Ford 98 Explorer. I purchased the headlights bran new…. What a change.
Did I say that Workhorse parts availability and price sucks in Canada…I did,,, but let me say it once again !
Some stuff I have is pretty cool and other was surprising. Example: After driving an hour or 2 stopped for to eat and then did the dishes. When washing the dishes I said “oh******forgot to but the heater on” yet the water was so hot. Got the manual out to see that the heater works on 120V, Gas and with the engine coolant. Also saw that the engine coolant gets routed under the bed to heat the floor and a secondary heater with a remote fan.
All the toggle switches logos on the dash are fading had a hard time at first to find what triggers what.
