NV 318 Campgrounds

We're going to be starting our Southward migration tomorrow starting from Idaho Falls and overnighting at Jackpot, Ely, and Kingmam. I would prefer to go a bit further than Ely but not as far as LV.

Has anyone found a nice (or decent) overnight rv park along 318. I don't need sewer but do need power (preferably 50 but 30 is OK)

Thanks for any thoughts.

  • Thanks for the reply's, I'll look into the Ash Springs and Alamo areas.
  • We have stayed at Ash Springs and it was nothing fancy but a good place to get off the road for the night.I would use it again.
  • There is somewhat of a park next to the Shell station in Ash Springs. Also there might be something at the Preston truck stop/motel in Lund.
  • We stayed at a small park in Alamo a few years ago. You might try that. It was ok for a one nighter on the way to Groom Lake (Area 51)...:B....Dennis
  • Ash Springs (where 318 meets 93) has some kind of RV park. I've never stayed there but have driven through there often and it looks OK.
