OBD port

Does a 2000 ford chassis, V10, class A have an OBD port? If so is it under the dash somewhere?
Thanks
  • Great to hear, I plan to plug my ultra gauge in to monitor gas, motor, etc.

mine does...just to the right of the steering wheel and back about 2-3 inches from the edge of the dash. fyi...I bought an OBD reader, plugged it in to the OBDII port in the MH and...nada. nothing. nil. zilch. thought the reader was bad so plugged it in to my jeep. worked like a champ. had my mechanic plug his reader in to the MH and his worked just fine. not sure what was going on so I just returned it for a refund.
  • I have a 2002 F-53 and the OBD port is under a plastic cover on the righthand side of the steering column. You can look right at it and not see it , so look close.

Yes. OBD II port is generally found next to steering column. On some rigs have to be a contortionist to get to it.:b
