We have had some bridge tolls where it cost less if our toad and RV were two separate vehicles rather than crossing the bridge towing it.
Tolls and fees are always going to rise. It is the easiest way for the politicians to increase revenue without having a vote about increasing taxes from the citizens. It is only going to get worse.
